Emerald is getting tubes in her ears tomorrow morning. We are to be there at 5 a.m.
At her evaluation this morning, we found out that due to the fluid in her right ear, she has lost all the hearing on that side.
Despite all this, she is still happy and energetic, a delightful child. I can't imagine how she will be when she actually feels good.
Doc says that she will regain her hearing when the fluid drains out, and everyone says we will be bringing home "a different child".
I can't wait for her to feel better!
